Crandall Road Water Main Extension

Dear Resident,

The North Tiverton Fire District Water Department (NTFD) has selected Boyle & Fogarty Construction as the contractor for Phase 1 of the Crandall Road Water Main Extension Project.

This project involves the installation of approximately 1,160 feet of new water main on Crandall Road, with water service connections and curb stops for properties within the project area.

Please note the following:

Construction Schedule and Traffic: Boyle & Fogarty Construction is scheduled to begin test holes on Crandall Road on Thursday, November 5, followed by saw cutting and preparation work. Installation of the new water main is expected to begin Thursday, November 12. Normal construction hours are anticipated to be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During construction, the southbound lane of Crandall Road will be CLOSED in the immediate work area, while northbound traffic will remain open. Local traffic will be permitted to access properties outside the active construction area. There may be temporary restrictions to driveway access when excavation takes place directly in front of a property. We will make every effort to notify residents in advance so they can plan accordingly. The Town of Tiverton will use the CodeRED notification system to keep residents updated.
