CUSTOMER GUIDE

This Customer Guide provides an overview of North Tiverton Fire District (NTFD), the public water system we operate, and the services available to our customers. It also serves as a convenient reference for your water service, billing, water quality, and customer resources.

Our commitment is to provide dependable service, protect public health, and responsibly maintain the water system that serves our community.

Installation of a lawn irrigation system is required to have a backflow assembly installed per Rhode Island General Laws Title 46 Chapter 46-13 Public Drinking Water Protection.

The backflow assembly must be tested annually by an approved, licensed tester and results submitted to the NTFD office.

Annual test must be done and submitted at the time of spring seasonal start-up. Click link for full details.

North Tiverton Fire District uses the Town of Tiverton CodeRED system to notify customers about water main breaks, emergency repairs, planned outages, and other time-sensitive service information.

We encourage all customers to register online. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes.
